The next form of the seated angle series is sort of a variation of boat pose (here).
Begin seated on your mat and gently pull the flesh from underneath your sitting bones so that your sitting bones are firmly rooted into the mat. Bend your knees and lean back, activating your core. Roll your shoulders back, reach down, and either take hold of the outside edges of your feet or wrap your peace fingers around your big toes. Slowly begin to lift your feet and press out of the bottoms of your feet to extend your legs. If the legs don’t come fully straight, no worries. Just keep pressing out of the bottoms of your feet to encourage your hamstrings to open up. Focus on keeping your back long and your chest open. Take three to seven breaths in this position before gently releasing.
